Founded in 1908, Huddersfield Town were managed by Bill Shankly in the 1950s before he went on to become a legend at Liverpool.

A couple of talented young players in Bill Shankly's Huddersfield side were Denis Law and Ray Wilson, a member of the England team that won the 1966 World Cup.
