Greece qualified for Euro 2008 from Group C.
European Championships
Greece have made two previous appearances at the European Championship
Finals: in 1980 and 2004.
It can be said that they surprised almost everyone by coming away from
Portugal 2004 as European Champions.
World Cup Appearences
Greece have only made one World Cup Finals appearance; going out of
the Group Stage in USA 1994,
without scoring a single goal.
Greece are managed by Otto Rehhagel.
