Championship Finals: in 1976, 1980, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004.
Netherlands became European Champions in West Germany (1988); finished
third at Yugoslavia 1976; and fourth at Sweden 1992, Belgium-Netherlands 2000 and Portugal
2004.
World Cup Appearences
Netherlands have made 8 World Cup Finals appearances:
1934, 1938, 1974, 1978, 1990, 1994, 1998 and 2006.
Netherlands have finished runners-up twice (West Germany 1974 and Argentina 1978) and came
fourth in France 1998.
