Paraguay were already out befroe this match but a win for Trinidad & Tobago could see
the team from the Caribbean qualify for the Second round, if England beat Sweden in
Cologne. However, Brent Sancho made their task harder when he headed the ball into his own
net from a Paraguay free-kick.

least two goals and even if they did, it might not not be enough as Sweden equalised in
Köln, six minutes after the break.
Substitute Nelson Cuevas doubled the score four minutes from time,
after a glorious one-two with Roque Santa Cruz on the edge of the area.
Trinidad & Tobago go home without scoring a single goal.
