Hotels
in Bonn:
There's no shortage of hotels for Japanese fans wishing to base themselves in Germany's
former capital. Both Kaiserslautern and Dortmund can easily be reached from a hotel in
Bonn, although it's a bit further across to Nürnberg.
Australia vs Japan in Kaiserslautern:
Japan took the lead in the first-half but couldn't find the second goal to put the game
out of Australia's reach; losing out in the end to three goals in the last ten minutes.
Japan vs Croatia in Nürnberg:
After defeats in the opening game, both Japan and Croatia seemed reluctant to take any
early risks and very little seemed to happen for much of the game.
Japan vs Brazil in Dortmund:
Although Japan surprised Brazil and scored first, the South Americans soon showed their
true class as Ronaldo equalled Gerd Müller's record of 14 World Cup Finals goals.
